The Sun's Song

You guys 've got to watch this.
Its an Anime drama with romance that has a twist. The story line is about two opposite worlds. The girl can only go out at night because she has some kind of illness that if she's gotten into the sun's rays, (I've researched about the illness, its called XP or Xedorama Pigmentosum, a
rare genetic defect in ultraviolet radiation-induced DNA repair mechanisms) she'll die. And the boy is a typical high-school student who loves surfing under the sun.

Kaoru(girl) could not attend school and forced to live a life very far from normal. She sleeps thru the day then goes out at night going to a park in front of a train station singing her songs with her guitar. Then go back home at 4:00 am before the sun goes up, and at home, in her room window, she watches this boy waiting for his friends with surfboards on their hands. She does that everynight until one day, or one night, an isolated incedent changes her life.

The two eventually met each other without Kouji(boy) knowing Kaoru's condition. They fell in love almost instantly. Then one day, Kouji have found out about Kaoru's XP. The love story goes on but you have got to watch the ending.

Watch it here. You have to register before you can watch. Its easy.

The Future Embrace

After Zwan disbanded, Billy Corgan found his way on making his first solo record, "The Future Embrace".

My friend liked it so much she gifted me a copy yesterday.
I followed The Smashing Pumpkins since its beginning but this album i must admit, I did not enjoy. Not as much as I enjoyed Zwan or James Iha's solo release.

Buy The Future Embrace here.
Buy James Iha's Let It Come Down here.

I'm Sucking

I don't even know why I made this blog, probably the same reason as the other million people out there blogging, and that is, to express their thoughts and stuff. I'll think up of the reason and if I did, I'll make a special post for it.

What are the chances that someone is reading my blog anyways.

I was browsing on Imeem to find some new stuffs to keep me awake to work and ended up listening to some Phantom Planet, Pete Yorn, and John Mayer. I know people might say that some of these aren't particularly cool to listen to, but fuck being cool! Maybe they're cool or maybe they're not. Either way, I'll dig to anything I wanted to.

(I fixed the time and date of my blog)
(I also submitted my blog to Pinoy Blogs Websites)

Dear Last Night

Last night, I went to Jhet's at Sampaloc. We sat on the side of the street like it was dinner table, ate burgers, chips, ice cream, and drank beer. Her mom and some of her cousins were there. Timmy is there, Verlyd, Rina and Robert. They were all awesome.

I got home and fell asleep with my shoes still on. Sobriety is not easy. After weeks of trying hard not having a booze, I don't know what Red Horse has that Saturdays seems so incomplete without it. Saturday is my designated "way to finish off the week, drink lots of Redhorse."

I can't wait until next Saturday.

Charlotte Hatherley's New Record

Well if you've been living under a rock, Charlotte Hatherley is the lead guitar player for the band, Ash. She joined Tim Wheeler and the rest of the trio when she was just 18. Since her playing for the band, Charlotte's presence on guitar and harmonies perfectly complemented the bands tunes.

Now she has a new record out, Yehey!
She had her first solo record in 2004 after playing 9 years for Ash. And now the much eagerly anticipated follow up is out. With "The Deep Blue", she really showed off, putting her stuff and talent as a solo artist and blending some atmosphere from her influences like The Pixies and XTC.

Check out the video of "I Want You To Know" her second single off the LP. I'm an even bigger fan of her now!

Coffee

When I am working, the most indicative sign of my motivation is that I now find myself drinking two cups of coffee in a row in the morning. I'd always have one cup first, then maybe another one a few hours later. It is actually a bad thing for me because I am anemic, just a really mild condition of anemia though, not a disease.

But lately, the coffee is not helping. I have not been able to function well drinking just two cups for me per day.

I am right now looking at my empty cup at 8 am and thinking about making my 4th cup.

Just saw this on another website and it just cracked me up!

Two nuns, Sister Marilyn and Sister Helen, are traveling through Europe in their car. They get to Transylvania and are stopped at a traffic light.

Suddenly, out of nowhere, a tiny little Dracula jumps onto the hood of the car and hisses through the windshield.
“Oh my!" shouts Sister Marilyn. "What shall we do?"
“Turn the windshield wipers on. That will get rid of the abomination," says Sister Helen.

Sister Marilyn switches them on, knocking Dracula about, but he clings on and continues hissing at the nuns.
“What shall I do now?" she shouts.

"Switch on the windshield washer. I filled it up with Holy Water at the Vatican," says Sister Helen.
Sister Marilyn turns on the windshield washer. Dracula screams as the water burns his skin, but he clings on and
continues hissing at the nuns.

"Now what?" shouts Sister Marilyn.
"Show him your cross," says Sister Helen.
"Now you're talking," says Sister Marilyn.

She opens the window and shouts, "Get the fuck off the car!"

Thanks To Imeem

Imeem.com is a social media service, web based music player whose goal is to make sharing music so simple. I am enjoying it around since last month and I must say I am quite impressed. It has a fairly good stash of songs including most of my favorites. The audio quality is very good too. And to top all of that, the low bitrate makes it possible to stream music while surfing even on a 256kbps connection. The websites main objective is to alllow friends with similar musical taste enjoy music collectively. You can drag and drop songs to create and save playlists which you can share with your friends.

My New Blog

The purpose of my blog, I think, is to write things about myself, the things that interests me, the music that I enjoy, and the experiences I bumped into everyday.

Well, if you found your way here then this is my first post and its kind of embarrasing that I don't really have a lot of things to say. Hopefully, I'll have this page up and running by this weekend.

We'll see.
